Nestled on the corner of Broadway and Josephine St. in Ball Square, you’ll find L’Optique Boutique, a relatively new eyewear and care shop.
L’Optique Boutique is different than a typical eyewear store — the white walls, small high top tables, and minimal decor resembles more of a fashion-forward clothing store.
With her unique experience in both the fashion and optical world, Tijan focuses on both style and functionality, providing every customer with a dedicated one-on-one consultation.
The licensed optician originally opened her store in Newton in 2010, but moved her business back to her hometown a little over a year ago.
“I love being back here,” she said. “I love what it’s become.”
Tijan loves the feeling of owning a local business in a tight-knit community like Ball Square, but her favorite part about the location?
She’s right across the street from her brother Umberto Rossetti’s hair salon, Salon CÜ.
